My Profile

In January 2005 I retired from full-time employment after 40 years in the electricity industry including electrical maintenance, commissioning and generation.

My wife & I have been married since 1971 and have 2 grown children and we live in the suburb of Wynn Vale which is about 10 miles north-east of Adelaide in South Australia.

Along with an interest in these old recordings I have other diverse interests which include electronics, brass banding, various aspects of computing and Ham Radio (VK5AIB).

The recordings on this website are a reminder of my younger days playing in a Salvation Army band. I used to be involved with the Salvation Army Emergency Services however long time back problems have put an end to that activity.

The transcription of these old records has kept me occupied for a great deal of the time since I retired.
